Apple Pay and Google Pay provide a fast and convenient way for your customers to pay, helping you reduce friction at checkout and improve payment completion rates.
These payment methods are enabled by default for all Pay Advantage merchants.
How It Works
When you send a payment link or direct customers to a hosted payment page, Apple Pay and Google Pay will automatically be available (on supported devices), giving your customers a faster way to pay.
Key Benefits for Your Business
-
Reduce admin time
Faster payments mean less time spent following up outstanding invoices and chasing payments. -
Improve cash flow consistency
Smoother payment experiences can lead to more reliable and predictable incoming payments. Faster checkout means fewer abandoned payments and quicker turnaround from invoice to funds received. -
Minimise failed transactions
Pre-authorised wallet payments reduce errors commonly caused by incorrect card entry. Eliminating manual entry of card details helps prevent mistakes that can lead to failed or delayed payments. -
Streamline your payment process
No need for manual handling or additional steps. Payments are completed quickly through a single interface. -
Simplify payments across all channels
Works seamlessly across payment links and hosted pages without requiring additional configuration. -
Modernise your payment offering
Offering widely adopted digital payment methods helps keep your business aligned with current payment expectations. With a large number of customers paying via mobile devices, Apple Pay and Google Pay provide a smoother, more efficient experience on smaller screens. -
Reduce drop-off at checkout
Simplified payment flows help prevent incomplete transactions, particularly on mobile devices.
Important Notes
- Apple Pay and Google Pay are available for one-time payments only
- These payment methods cannot be used for Direct Debit or recurring payment setups
- Availability depends on the customer’s device, browser, and wallet configuration
